For our team, this week was all about planning and brainstorming. After a week to decide what our app would be, we decided on a title and used the week flesh out all the features our app would have and what they should look like.
The first step for this week was to create a software design document. By creating flowcharts and detailing every aspect of the application, the document is able to provide a description of the system to allow for development to proceed with an understanding of what and how it is expected to be built.
As my part of the document, I defined the purpose and scope of the application as well as completed much of the overall description section, which included descriptions of the user interface, software and hardware interfaces, product functions, and user characteristics. The final section I was able to work on in this document was the section describing the application's use cases. This portion of the document imagines how the user would interact with and navigate the app to complete their desired actions with the system.

As well as the software design document and app wireframe, I decided to begin designing a logo for our app. This went through many changes, and is almost certainly not finished yet. I created a vector based logo that can be infinitely resized using design and image-editing software. Below are some of my initial ideas and iterations:
